Volunteer for our beach cleanups!

Our trained site captains lead monthly Adopt-A-Beach Program cleanups at different locations around Pacifica, Daly City, Montara and Half Moon Bay to clean and restore our beaches and shorelines. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates, times and locations.

Beach & Creek Cleanups in Pacifica

Rockaway Beach – Pacifica
Held on the first Saturday every month, 9am-11am. Meet at the corner of the North Beach parking lot West on Rockaway Beach Ave. First right on Old County Road. Left on San Marlo Way. Meet at the corner of the parking lot near the sea wall and the hotel. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

San Pedro Creek – Pacifica
Held on the first Saturday every month, 9am-11am. Meet at the beginning o the trail head at 751 San Pedro Terrace Rd, Pacifica. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

Sharp Park Beach – Pacifica
Held second Saturday every month, 9am-11am. Meet at the corner of Beach Blvd and Clarendon at the start of the levee. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

Esplanade Beach – Pacifica
Held on the third Saturday every month, 9am-11am. Meet at the top of the stairs on Esplanade Avenue next to Lands End Apartments. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

Linda Mar State Beach – Pacifica
Held on the third Saturday every month, 9am-11am. Meet at the southern end of the main parking lot (near Taco Bell). This cleanup site used to host the Japanese Tsunami Marine Debris Cleanups – check our monthly calendar for specific dates.

Beach & Litter Cleanups in Daly City

Mussel Rock Beach – Daly City
Held on the fourth Saturday every month, 9am-11am. Meet at the Mussel Rock carpark at the end of Westline Drive by the second entrance to Allied Waste. This cleanup site used to host the Japanese Tsunami Marine Debris Cleanups – check our monthly calendar for specific dates.

Thornton Vista – Daly City
Held on the second Sunday every month, 9am-11am. Look for our table after the roundabout where Thornton Beach Rd walkway starts. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

City & Bay Cleanups in Foster City

Foster City – Moving Location
Held on the third Sunday of the month, 9am-11am. The locations are always changing to make sure that the areas in need are always covered. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates and meeting location details.

Beach Cleanups in Half Moon Bay

Harbor Beach – Half Moon Bay
Held on the last Saturday of the month, 9am-11am. Meet on the Coastal Trail near the sea walls and the Pillar Point RV parking lot. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

Surfers Beach & Bluff – Half Moon Bay
Held on the last Saturday of the month, 9am-11am. Meet on the Coastal Trail near the sea walls and the Pillar Point RV parking lot. Check our online monthly calendar for specific dates.

Pillar Point Harbor – Half Moon Bay
Held on Earth Day of Action and Coastal Cleanup Day, 9am -11am. Meet behind the Harbor Master Office at 1 Johnson Pier. We cleanup the jetties, Capistrano beach, the creek, the parking lots, neighborhood streets and coastal trail.

Beach Cleanups in Montara

Montara State Beach – Montara
Held on the second Saturday of the month, 9am-11am. The parking lot is on the north side of the large building across from first street. If coming from Pacifica, go past the first Montara Beach parking lot, and turn in to the lot right next to the building. Sign up!  Registration is Encouraged
All volunteers are encouraged to pre-register by completing and submitting our Online Volunteer Registration Form. For logistical purposes, we notify our site captains in advance of the number of volunteers to expect for a cleanup. Pre-registration also allows you to complete and submit in advance our waiver form required of all volunteers to participate.
